Edison Properties’ commitment to the community began in 1956 with the opening of our first parking facility on Edison Place in Newark, New Jersey. It continues to this day with the more than 3 million vehicles we park each year, the state-of-the-art office space we offer, the modern apartments we rent, and the convenient storage spaces we provide. Our family has grown to a team of more than 600, but our commitment remains … and so does our original parking lot. Edison Properties takes the long view when it comes to real estate development. Once an opportunity is identified, our real estate and development team begins a thorough due diligence process with the intent to acquire the property.Upon closing, properties are entitled and developed for interim or long-term purposes. Our ultimate goal is to develop properties for the highest and best use, and we will spend as long as is needed to secure the necessary approvals to do so.
