DW Partners

The DW Partners team was founded in 2008 by David Warren as the fundamental credit group at hedge fund Brevan Howard, focusing on corporate credit and structured finance and managing approximately $3 billion of capital. The DW team spun out of Brevan Howard in June 2009 and began managing capital for institutional investors. In 2015, we separated fully from Brevan Howard.

DW maintains a dynamic approach to investing in credit markets across a broad range of asset types and strategies, applying deep fundamental research to complex situations and a focus on fundamental value and asymmetry. We invest in a range of underlying strategies, including catalyst driven performing credit, distressed situations, structured finance, real assets, and specialty private credit.

The investment landscape and opportunity set is always changing. We strive to innovate, adapting to changes in the market environment while stressing our core competencies. Our Firm has a flat structure – we foster a culture of debate to strive for the optimal investment outcome for our investors.
