Cisterra was founded by Steve Black in August 1999 to partner with Cisco Systems Inc, a multi-national corporation. Cisterra was chosen to help accommodate Cisco’s rapid growth through the development of large regional office campuses and sites throughout the United States and Europe. Since then, Cisterra's principals have developed over 15 million square feet of best-in-class projects ranging from high-rise urban mixed-use projects to biotechnology and research facilities to intermodal rail-served industrial, to traditional multifamily. Cisterra has assembled an extraordinary group of industry professionals with unmatched experience in all facets of real estate development and finance.
