B&D Holdings is the umbrella organization and real estate management company for numerous real estate partnerships and operating companies invested in commercial real estate in markets across the country. As the main investment arm of the Segal Family Office and the Segal Family Foundation, our leadership is both experienced as an investor and a user of commercial real estate. Martin Segal, Principal at B&D Holdings, founded Bradco Supply and grew the business into one of the nation’s leading building supply companies, with 150 branches across the United States, before selling the company in 2008. Our real estate portfolio consists of over 160 properties throughout 27 states comprising over 6,000,000 square feet of industrial, office, flex, and retail assets, inclusive of net leased single and multi-tenant properties as well as shopping centers. Today, we primarily focus on direct investment in industrial real estate through our foundation and various investment entities and partnerships; industrial properties comprise approximately 65% of our portfolio. Our ability to capitalize transactions in-house through our principals and family partnerships, in addition to working with decades long relationships with various strategic and capital partners, ensures that we proceed towards closings in an expeditious and efficient manner, while being able to fashion and adapt deal structures to best serve the needs of our partners and investors and to maximize the potential of our investments. With careful and creative management, we are focused on the strategic growth of our portfolio, increasing income for the foundation and our various entities, while facilitating the appreciation of our assets over the long term.
